Website Terms of Use
You use this website under these terms and conditions.
NSANZ is happy to provide this website for the benefit of its members,
prospective members, event organisers, the media and those with an interest
in the speaking profession.
By using this website you agree to these terms and conditions.
We’re volunteers: Much as we’d like to keep this site 100% up to date and accurate, that probably won’t happen all the time.
Because NSANZ is a voluntary organisation, updates to the website relies on the work of volunteers. For that reason, we cannot guarantee that all information will be 100% accurate or up to date, all the time. If you suspect information is out of date then please contact: admin@nationalspeakers.org.nz.
The site is intended to be used as a facility for:
- Members to access information, and ideas, and to register for meetings and sign up for newsletters and updates.
- Prospective members to learn more about the benefits of joining NSANZ, and to sign up for newsletters and updates.
- For event managers and media to find out more about the industry, to find links and more information about individual professional speakers.
We’re not agents and we don’t make warranties
If you want to hire a speaker - then your contract will be with that
speaker. As an association we can’t guarantee the quality of any speaker
on any given day, and you do need to make your own investigation prior
to contracting with that speaker.
In other words, NSANZ
- is not an agent or intermediary for any speaker on this site. If you want to hire them, you need to deal directly with them, or a speaker bureaux representing them.
- does not take part in any transaction negotiated or entered into between you and any of the speakers listed on this website - again you need to deal direct.
- does not provide facilities for the exchange of money or other consideration between you and any NSANZ member. (This does not include NSANZ organised events where NSANZ have contracted with the speaker and you pay the meeting fee or registration to us).
Any transaction undertaken by you using information obtained from this Website is undertaken at your own risk and you agree to not hold NSANZ responsible or liable for the results of such transactions. NSANZ does not warrant, represent or otherwise make any claim as to:
- the description, quality, value (including commercial value) or legitimacy of any goods or services described in any profile; or
- the identity of any NSANZ member.
Responsibility for the content of profiles lies with the relevant NSANZ member and NSANZ does not review or verify any aspects of any profile. If you suspect there is a mistake, or error in a profile then you agree to contact NSANZ and let us know. We’ll investigate it as soon as volunteer time and energy allows, and do what we can to fix it.
Be good: don’t spam, don’t plagiarise
Your access and use of this Website, and the information contained
on this Website, must only be for the purposes contemplated by this
Website. You can contact NSANZ members for bona-fide purposes connected
to the operation of NSANZ.
For example: You can use the e-mails on this site to ask questions about
NSANZ, contact speakers about speaking or other professional services
they offer. You can’t use them to send advertising, add them to your
newsletter distribution or send other SPAM without permission. And
no thanks, we’re not interested in the millions you
want to transfer into our bank account, to buy a timeshare or buy miracle
drugs to enhance portions of our anatomy.
You must not attempt to change any information or content appearing
on this Website, or attempt to introduce any virus to, or adversely
affect the performance of, this Website.
We don’t mind you using this information and spreading the word about
speakers. However, you must acknowledge the source. You can’t copy
the information here and pass it off as your own.
If you want to reproduce an article then that’s OK PROVIDED you acknowledge
the source (NSANZ), the author (of any article) and tell us about it.
