Main Speaker:
Marketing Your Speaking Business
Presented by John Bishop

John BishopFor a professional speaker, speaking should not be an interest or a hobby.  It's should be a business from which you aim to earn money.

The only test of whether you are good enough to make money is that you do so.  So here from the many hard lessons that I have learned about the speaking business is some distilled wisdom.  In this practical session, learn how to translate your passion for a subject into a presentation that people will pay to hear.

John Bishop has been active as a professional speaker since 2003. He was President of the Wellington Chapter of NSANZ in 2005. He is also a trainer, facilitator, commentator, journalist, marketing and PR strategist and speech writer. See www.johnbishop.co.nz. Pursue Excellence

Whāia te iti kahurangi Ki te tūohu koe, me he maunga teitei.

Pursue excellence: If you stumble, let it be to a lofty mountain.

Whaia e koe ki te iti kahurangi; ki te tuohu koe, me maunga teitei.

Seek the treasure you value most dearly: if you bow your head, let it be to a lofty mountain.
