We encourage you to draw attention to your award(s) in whatever way you feel may be appropriate. However, in doing so, you are required to ensure all references to your award(s) - in all materials and all forms - are accurately represented and include the details 1 - 4 noted below. All references to award(s), past and present, must include:
- The association’s name or abbreviation
- The title of the award
- The year it was awarded
The chapter or body it was awarded by
eg. Chapter awards:
BrightStar Speaker 2010 - NSANZ Auckland
Entertainer Of The Year 2010 - NSANZ Auckland
NSANZ Inspirational Speaker Of The Year 2010 - Auckland
eg. National awards:
Speaker Of The Year 2010 - NSANZ
NSANZ Speaker Of The Year 2010
NSANZ Inspirational Speaker Of The Year 2010
If you have won the same award several times you may note each award separately eg:
Inspirational Speaker of the Year 2005 - NSANZ Auckland
Inspirational Speaker of the Year 2009 - NSANZ Auckland
OR you may combine as follows:
Inspirational Speaker of the Year 2006 and 2008 - NSANZ Auckland
If you have won several different awards from the same chapter you may note each award separately eg:
Inspirational Speaker of the Year 2008 - NSANZ Auckland
MC of the Year 2006 - NSANZ Auckland
Unsung Hero Award 2005 - NSANZ Christchurch
OR you may state the chapter name once and summarise the awards won eg:
Honours awarded by - NSANZ Auckland:
Inspirational Speaker of the Year 2005
MC of the Year 2006
Business Speaker Of The Year 2010
Where third parties such as event organisers, clients or speaker bureaus
refer to your award(s) you are responsible for ensuring they do so in a way
that meets the requirements noted above.
You are also required to ensure reference to the award(s) are of a size that
is readable in the setting in which displayed so that all parts of the award
title, including branch designation where appropriate, is given equal importance,
and references to awards must not mislead or contravene the Fair Trading
Act or other relevant Acts.
These requirements apply to all NSANZ award winners of every chapter, both
past and current, member or non-member. If you have any queries regarding
the use and promotion of your award please contact your Chapter or National
President.
